Short Description: Pitot-Static system and Front Baggage Floor
|
Well, another airport bum Karl had a whole case of different Poly-flo connectors fortunately, so I borrowed the case and had what I needed to get all the Pitot-Static connections changed. It was a chore but not as horrible as I imagined it would be.
I had a push connector in the transition from my metal pitot tube to the nylon line and Don had some silicone that he suggested I use which seemed to work out well.
I went on to working on the baggage floor for the front baggage area and got the holes opened up a little and it is ready to install.
I then removed the rear seat and panels in the rear baggage area and checked the lines back there. They looked good but I went ahead and put on a couple zip ties to a couple joints just to make sure.
I think it will be ready to test again to complete the IFR cert.....hopefully I removed all the gremlins!
